The WASSP Multibeam can be used as part of a system setup to achieve IHO order 1a and special Order or equivalent standards to comply with the vertical uncertainty requirements the standard specifies. The vertical uncertainty has been measured to be maximum 0.146m (95%) in 20m depth. For accurate Multibeam Hydrographic Surveys you require at least the following elements:
- Depth -Multibeam Echosounder
- Position &Heading –GNSS RTK receiver.
- Motion –IMU
- Sound Velocity –SVS, SVP (or both)
The WASSP S3r Pole mount Multi-beam is an integrated system which includes:
- RPM Real-time Processing Module
- DRX IP66 Water-resistant Processor
- Survey Wide-Band Fairing Transducer
- Ellipse-Dual RTK GNSS INS receiver
- Mini SVS Sound Velocity Sensor
- ‘over-the-side’ Pole Mount Kit
